Saturday, the 8th, was another beautiful day for golf. It, also, happened to be Peach Days in Brigham City. We didn’t go to the parade, but Craig wanted to go to the car show. So, we spent an hour or so looking at cars. It wasn’t too bad. We got to see John Parson’s Corvette. It still looks great.
After the car show, we went to Eagle Mountain Golf Course (par 71) in Brigham City, Utah. We hooked up with Paul Larsen, again, and while we were there we saw other friends. We saw Ted Hansen, Rod Hunter and Scot Davis. We also saw some of our neighbors (former neighbors from BC days) the Hoesels, Cam and Neil. Wow! It was great to see them. The golf and the day were great. Paul shot a 79. Craig shot a 90. I shot an 80.
After the golf we went and spent some time with the Bier family. They lived (well, they still live there) just two houses to the south of our house in BC. It was great to see them and some of their family, who were there for Peach Days and the car show.
So, that was it for the 8th Annual Boys Night Out. Once, again, it was a great time with friends and family. Maybe next year, some of my boys will take a look at joining the tradition. It has been wonderful and I feel so grateful for the moments of “today” and the remembrances of “yesterday”. (There are pictures to be added - SOME DAY)
